The Story of Vidia

You are a traveling seer, known in these lands as one with mysterious powers and an uncanny way of knowing things you should not be able to know. Your power comes from the ability to read a person's thoughts as they are thinking them, though this is a detail you make sure to keep secret--for others do not reveal their own secrets if they know they are being heard.

As often happens, you have been petitioned to assist in resolving a local dispute, this time in the nearby town of Vidia. The town's mayor is retiring, but has not chosen a successor. Your task is to advise the townsfolk on who will be the best candidate to steward the Town in these uncertain times.
